Everything Zen Bios
Raised in the Maritimes, Kevin cut his teeth performing traditional East Coast standards and rock classics throughout Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Kevin took his musical aspirations to Vancouver where he worked the scene with bands like Nickelback and Matthew Good. While recording an album in Bryan Adam’s basement, he inked a record deal with Sire Records in Los Angeles. He recorded two records for Sire Records and had two songs chart in the American Top 40. Kevin honed his stage presence while on tour with many classic and modern acts, performing extensively with Beck, Iggy Pop, The Bloodhound Gang, and Tonic.

Not only does he sing while he plays guitar, but he can also play guitar while he sings.
Straight out Lanark county, this country boy can rock every genre. You may remember him from bands like Limit.
Rick started playing drums in the local rock bands on P.E.I., and then represented Canada as a drummer for the Stadacona and Central bands. Rick has toured Canada, the United States, and Europe, playing concerts and small jazz gigs for 15 years before joining the local music scene. Rick’s charisma extends well beyond the drum kit.

We call him "Uncle Rick". But he's not actually our uncle.
Justin started playing guitar at the ripe age of 6. He soon realized that playing the bass guitar required less work and still got him the girls’ attention. Justin brings a smooth backbone to the EZ Band style. Justin has performed in the Saskatoon and Vancouver music scenes. After relocating to Ottawa he was introduced to the Everything Zen family.
